Ballet

Ballet is the basis of all forms of dance and helps improve posture, core strength, balance and muscle co-ordination in a disciplined, structured environment.

We start with the basic steps of ballet in our Primary classes developing both Barre and centre technique, all the way to our Pre Senior and Senior classes where students have the opportunity to progress to dance in pointe shoes.

We also offer an Adult Ballet class encompassing both novice and the more advanced

 

Pupils in year 1 and above need to choose a minimum of 2 classes to make up a 60-minute session.

If pupils in years 5 and above choose a 60-minute Acro class they must also choose either a Ballet, Lyrical, or Jazz class as well to work on their technique.
